Caissie & Company is a “boutique” law firm located in Surrey, British Columbia practicing exclusively in the area of civil litigation. Civil litigation involves disputes about money, including ICBC and personal injury claims, insurance disability claims, employment law claims, construction and builders’ liens claims and business disputes. Restricting our practice in this way allows us to identify legal issues and solutions more efficiently, and at a more sophisticated level.

Caissie & Company is guided by its founding partner, Edmund Caissie, who has been a civil litigation trial lawyer since 1984 with extensive experience at all levels of Court in B.C. It is this experience which results in thorough preparation of cases, even though the vast majority of such cases settle by way of negotiation or mediation. Building a solid foundation for a case is the way to withstanding the inevitable difficulties that can arise.

Our approach is client-centered. This means we listen to you to understand your needs and provide you with options for resolving your legal issues efficiently in a way you can understand.

Personal Injury Claims

If you retain our services, we generally work on a contingent fee basis (percentage). This means you pay no legal fees until we resolve your case.

ICBC Claims

As personal injury lawyers, we represent you—victims who have suffered injuries due to the negligence or intentional conduct of others.
